What this extension does

Invoice to Shopify CSV Parser is a Chrome Extension that lets you upload an invoice PDF, extracts product data using AI, and downloads a Shopify-ready CSV file. The first 5 scans are free; continued use requires a paid subscription.

Data we process

• Invoice PDFs: Your PDF is sent to our backend server solely to extract product data. We do not store your PDF — it is forwarded to OpenAI and discarded immediately after the response.
• Device identifier: A randomly generated device fingerprint is stored locally in your browser and sent to our backend to enforce the free scan limit. It contains no personally identifiable information.
• Subscription status: If you subscribe, we store your device identifier together with a flag indicating you are a paid subscriber and the Stripe customer ID associated with your subscription, so we can unlock unlimited scans for your device.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, your payment is handled entirely on Stripe's secure checkout — we never see or store your card number or other payment credentials. We receive only a confirmation that the subscription is active and a Stripe customer ID. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

Third-party services

• OpenAI — your PDF content is processed by OpenAI's API to extract product data. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — handles subscription payments and stores your billing details. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — your device identifier, scan count, and subscription status are stored in a Supabase database to enforce usage limits and unlock paid access. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — our backend runs on Vercel serverless infrastructure. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Data retention

We retain only your device identifier, scan count, paid-status flag, and (for subscribers) a Stripe customer ID. No invoice content, product data, card details, or other personal information is stored on our servers. To request deletion of your device record, email us at the address below.
